Menopause
(Moment To Pause)

Everything is appropriate in its own time. But though God
has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, many
cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to
end. So I have concluded that, first, there is nothing
better for a man (person) than to be happy and enjoy
himself as long as he can; and second, that he should eat
and drink and enjoy the fruits of his labor, for this is
the gift of God. (men referring to humankind) Ecclesiastes
3:11&12

God made each of us purposefully, to accomplish His plan in
our lives. He has equipped us with necessary tools to
complete the task. There is no use clinging to past
successes and failures. Each season brings new
opportunities and new rewards. Search your heart and soul.
Give praise to God for all that He has sustained you
through, each victory He has won through you and forget
every time you stumbled. Didn't He faithfully pick you back
up? Now desire fresh direction,, new revelation and purpose
for this era.
Nature says a woman's hormonal level rules her mood and
dictates her personality. God's Word in Galatians 5:22
says, "When the Holy Spirit controls our lives He will
produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and
self control..." I see no age restrictions. It is true
physical and emotional effects are experienced when our
hormones change and become imbalanced, but God has provided
many excellent herbs and remedies for our consumption.
Also, medical doctors may help with prescribed medications,
but by far, the healing balm of the Word of God and
practicing His Holy presence is most valuable. Only in Holy
Spirit's presence can we develop the fruits of the Spirit I
mentioned. They are a byproduct of His seed imparted into
out heart, watered by worship and cultivated by the cutting
sword of His Word.
Sarah was well past menopausal change when she gave birth
to Isaac, promised son of Abraham and father of Israel.
Miriam was a young girl when she observed her baby brother,
Moses, in the Nile River. It was late in her life that she
assisted him as he led Israel; God's chosen people out of
slavery in Egypt. Mary was a young teen virgin girl when
God blessed her with baby Jesus, future savior of the
world. She was middle aged before she witnessed His public
ministry, crucifixion, burial and resurrection. God saves
the best rewards for last! Naomi thought she was too old to
be any good for Ruth, but she played a key role in the
courtship and marriage of her and Boaz. We are never
useless when yielded to God's will. It has been said, "It
aint over 'till the fat lady sings." I say, "BAHHUMBUG!"
There are always big, beautiful sisters who think they can
croak a tune. It isn't over until the trumpet blasts!

Loving Father above, I bless and praise You for Your
kindness and faithfulness. You are worthy of all glory and
honor. I open my heart to You and yield my life for Your
service. Accomplish those things You planned for eternal
purpose in the kingdom.
I yield to You to whom belongs all honor, glory and praise.
Make the most of the rest of my life. May it be the best
for me and the most productive for the Kingdom. Amen.
